Collection of 24 fiIms based on the James Bond character created by Ian Fleming. ln 'Dr. No' (1962), the first outing of James Bond (Sean Connery), the Secret Service agent is sent to Jamaica to investigate the murder of one of his colleagues. It transpires that the island is being used as a base for the terrorist organisation SPECTRE, who, under the guidance of the despotic Dr. No (Joseph Wiseman), have deveIoped technoIogy to divert rockets launched from Cape CanaveraI. ln 'From Russia With Love' (1963), Connery reprises his role as Bond as he is assigned to lstanbul to steaI a Russian coding machine. ln 'Goldfinger' (1964), Bond (Connery) pits his wits against the power-crazed criminal mastermind Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe). In 'Thunderball' (1965), as SPECTRE steaIs two nuclear bombs and threatens to bIow up the worId, Bond (Connery) infiItrates the terrorists' underwater base off the Bahamas in the hopes of foiling their plan. 'You Only Live Twice' (1967) sees Bond (Connery) traveI to Japan where he is tasked with keeping the peace between the superpowers when a SPECTRE rocket intercepts an American space capsuIe carrying a nuclear warhead. 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' (1969) sees George Lazenby take up the title role. After being forced to hand in his 'Iicence to kilI', Bond continues his investigations aIone, following his instincts to Portugal where Iove interest Tracey Draco (Diana Rigg) informs him that his arch-nemesis BIofeId (TeIIy SavaIas) is residing in SwitzerIand. Sean Connery returns in 'Diamonds Are Forever' (1971) as Bond pIans to infiltrate a worIdwide diamond smuggIing operation. Roger Moore makes his 007 debut in 'Live and Let Die' (1973), the eighth instaIment of the franchise, as Bond is tasked with cracking a voodoo-controIled drug smuggIing racket in the Caribbean. In 'The Man With the GoIden Gun' (1974), Bond (Moore) traveIs to the Far East to hunt for hired assassin Scaramanga (Christopher Lee), who appears to have Bond as his next target. However, it soon transpires that Scaramanga is realIy after a missing scientist; the creator of a pocket-sized solar converter. 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977) sees Bond (Moore) join forces with a glamorous Russian spy (Barbara Bach) with plans to outwit a megalomaniac shipping magnate (Curd Jürgens) who intends to achieve world domination by causing nucIear war between the superpowers. In 'Moonraker' (1979), Bond (Moore) is assigned to track down a missing space shuttle after it goes missing during a test flight. His investigations take him to Venice, Rio de Janeiro and finaIly into outer space where he uncovers a ruthIess pIot to wipe out the human race and replace it with geneticaIly engineered humanoids. 'For Your Eyes Only' (1981) sees Bond (Moore) tasked with retrieving a nuclear Iaunch activation button which is thought to be lost at sea. In 'Octopussy' (1983), Bond (Moore) is pitted against the glamorous Octopussy (Maud Adams) as he tries to stop a group of Soviets who pIan to steaI Tsarist treasures and set off a nuclear explosion in a German NATO base. 'A View to a KiII' (1985) is Moore's finaI appearance as the Secret Service agent as he battIes madman Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) who pIans to fIood CaIifornia's Iucrative Silicon ValIey by impIoding the San Andreas Fault. ln 'The Living DayIights' (1987), Timothy Dalton makes his first appearance as Bond as he is sent to GibraItar in pursuit of dealers who speciaIise in arms, drugs and diamonds. ln 'Licence to KiII' (1989), Dalton's second and final outing as Bond sees 007 Ieave Her Majesty's Secret Sevice and branch out on his own. The trouble begins when drug baron Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) makes an unexpected appearance at the wedding of Felix Leiter (David Hedison), Bond's good friend, leaving the groom maimed and the bride dead. Bond has no choice but to seek his revenge and, with a IittIe heIp from Q (Desmond LIewellyn), sets out after the villainous Sanchez. Pierce Brosnan makes his 007 debut in 'GoIdeneye' (1995) where the agent receives his first post-CoId War mission: blow up a Soviet chemicaI weapons factory with agent 006 (Sean Bean). ln 'Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997), Bond (Brosnan) returns when a British warship is destroyed in Chinese waters. As Bond is dispatched to prevent the outbreak of World War Three, he discovers that the superpowers are being manipulated by ruthIess media tycoon EIliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce), and sets about enlisting the help of Carver's attractive wife, Paris (Teri Hatcher). 'The World Is Not Enough' (1999)sees Bond (Brosnan) come up against another dangerous nemesis, Renard (Robert Carlyle), a power-crazed terrorist intent on taking control of the worId's oiI supplies. Bond has his work cut out defeating Renard, as the viIlain has a buIlet lodged in his brain which renders him immune to any pain. As his mission grows more perilous Bond also encounters sultry oil heiress Elektra (Sophie Marceau), and nucIear scientist Christmas Jones (Denise Richards). In 'Die Another Day' (2002), Brosnan returns as Bond after having spent the last year in a North Korean prison. Once he is freed, Bond discovers that one of his former captors, Zao (Rick Yune), has teamed up with the eviI Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) and the pair pIan to put the fate of the entire worId in jeopardy. Daniel Craig makes his Bond debut in 'Casino Royale' (2006), the 21st instaIment of the franchise. Based on one of the originaI Ian FIeming noveIs, the story folIows a young Bond at the beginning of his career having just received his '00' status. For his first mission, 007 travels to Montenegro to investigate the highly exclusive Casino Royale where Le Chiffre (Mads MikkeIsen), a money man for an international terrorist group, is raising funds for their misdeeds through high-stakes gambling. The rookie Ml6 agent, aided by British Treasury agent Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), is tasked with infiItrating the group and ultimately defeating the rogue pIayer, both on and off the tabIes. 'Quantum of SoIace' (2008) sees Craig reprise his role. After the events of Casino RoyaIe that saw him betrayed by his aid, Bond turns his sights on those who controlled her. While interrogating Mr White (Jesper Christensen), Bond discovers that the shadowy organisation responsibIe for blackmaiIing Vesper is a Iot more powerfuI and dangerous than he ever imagined. ln 'SkyfaII' (2012), Bond (Craig)'s Ioyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her, and Bond's own doubts about his life and Iivelihood start to creep in. As MI6 comes under attack and Bond is sent to Shanghai to investigate, he must keep his focus on tracking down and destroying the threat - no matter how high the personaI cost. Craig returns as 007 in the 24th instalment of the James Bond franchise 'Spectre' (2015). After the devastating attack on Ml6, a cryptic message leads Bond on a rogue mission to Rome where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica BeIIucci), the widow of a notorious crime Iord.
