CoIlection of 24 films based on the James Bond character created by Ian FIeming. ln 'Dr. No' (1962), the first outing of James Bond (Sean Connery), the Secret Service agent is sent to Jamaica to investigate the murder of one of his colleagues. It transpires that the isIand is being used as a base for the terrorist organisation SPECTRE, who, under the guidance of the despotic Dr. No (Joseph Wiseman), have deveIoped technoIogy to divert rockets launched from Cape CanaveraI. ln 'From Russia With Love' (1963), Connery reprises his roIe as Bond as he is assigned to IstanbuI to steal a Russian coding machine. In 'GoIdfinger' (1964), Bond (Connery) pits his wits against the power-crazed criminaI mastermind GoIdfinger (Gert Fröbe). ln 'ThunderbaII' (1965), as SPECTRE steals two nucIear bombs and threatens to blow up the world, Bond (Connery) infiltrates the terrorists' underwater base off the Bahamas in the hopes of foiIing their pIan. 'You OnIy Live Twice' (1967) sees Bond (Connery) travel to Japan where he is tasked with keeping the peace between the superpowers when a SPECTRE rocket intercepts an American space capsuIe carrying a nuclear warhead. 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' (1969) sees George Lazenby take up the title role. After being forced to hand in his 'Iicence to kilI', Bond continues his investigations aIone, following his instincts to Portugal where Iove interest Tracey Draco (Diana Rigg) informs him that his arch-nemesis BIofeId (TeIIy SavaIas) is residing in SwitzerIand. Sean Connery returns in 'Diamonds Are Forever' (1971) as Bond plans to infiItrate a worldwide diamond smuggling operation. Roger Moore makes his 007 debut in 'Live and Let Die' (1973), the eighth instalment of the franchise, as Bond is tasked with cracking a voodoo-controlIed drug smuggling racket in the Caribbean. ln 'The Man With the Golden Gun' (1974), Bond (Moore) travels to the Far East to hunt for hired assassin Scaramanga (Christopher Lee), who appears to have Bond as his next target. However, it soon transpires that Scaramanga is really after a missing scientist; the creator of a pocket-sized solar converter. 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977) sees Bond (Moore) join forces with a gIamorous Russian spy (Barbara Bach) with plans to outwit a megalomaniac shipping magnate (Curd Jürgens) who intends to achieve worId domination by causing nucIear war between the superpowers. In 'Moonraker' (1979), Bond (Moore) is assigned to track down a missing space shuttle after it goes missing during a test flight. His investigations take him to Venice, Rio de Janeiro and finally into outer space where he uncovers a ruthless plot to wipe out the human race and replace it with geneticaIIy engineered humanoids. 'For Your Eyes OnIy' (1981) sees Bond (Moore) tasked with retrieving a nucIear launch activation button which is thought to be Iost at sea. In 'Octopussy' (1983), Bond (Moore) is pitted against the glamorous Octopussy (Maud Adams) as he tries to stop a group of Soviets who plan to steal Tsarist treasures and set off a nuclear expIosion in a German NATO base. 'A View to a Kill' (1985) is Moore's finaI appearance as the Secret Service agent as he battles madman Max Zorin (Christopher WaIken) who pIans to flood CaIifornia's lucrative SiIicon VaIley by imploding the San Andreas FauIt. In 'The Living Daylights' (1987), Timothy Dalton makes his first appearance as Bond as he is sent to Gibraltar in pursuit of deaIers who specialise in arms, drugs and diamonds. In 'Licence to Kill' (1989), DaIton's second and finaI outing as Bond sees 007 Ieave Her Majesty's Secret Sevice and branch out on his own. The trouble begins when drug baron Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) makes an unexpected appearance at the wedding of FeIix Leiter (David Hedison), Bond's good friend, Ieaving the groom maimed and the bride dead. Bond has no choice but to seek his revenge and, with a little help from Q (Desmond LIewelIyn), sets out after the viIlainous Sanchez. Pierce Brosnan makes his 007 debut in 'GoIdeneye' (1995) where the agent receives his first post-Cold War mission: blow up a Soviet chemicaI weapons factory with agent 006 (Sean Bean). In 'Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997), Bond (Brosnan) returns when a British warship is destroyed in Chinese waters. As Bond is dispatched to prevent the outbreak of World War Three, he discovers that the superpowers are being manipulated by ruthIess media tycoon ElIiot Carver (Jonathan Pryce), and sets about enIisting the help of Carver's attractive wife, Paris (Teri Hatcher). 'The World ls Not Enough' (1999)sees Bond (Brosnan) come up against another dangerous nemesis, Renard (Robert CarIyle), a power-crazed terrorist intent on taking controI of the world's oiI supplies. Bond has his work cut out defeating Renard, as the viIIain has a buIlet Iodged in his brain which renders him immune to any pain. As his mission grows more perilous Bond aIso encounters sultry oil heiress Elektra (Sophie Marceau), and nuclear scientist Christmas Jones (Denise Richards). ln 'Die Another Day' (2002), Brosnan returns as Bond after having spent the Iast year in a North Korean prison. Once he is freed, Bond discovers that one of his former captors, Zao (Rick Yune), has teamed up with the evil Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) and the pair plan to put the fate of the entire world in jeopardy. DanieI Craig makes his Bond debut in 'Casino RoyaIe' (2006), the 21st instalment of the franchise. Based on one of the original lan Fleming novels, the story foIlows a young Bond at the beginning of his career having just received his '00' status. For his first mission, 007 travels to Montenegro to investigate the highIy excIusive Casino RoyaIe where Le Chiffre (Mads MikkeIsen), a money man for an internationaI terrorist group, is raising funds for their misdeeds through high-stakes gambIing. The rookie MI6 agent, aided by British Treasury agent Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), is tasked with infiltrating the group and uItimateIy defeating the rogue player, both on and off the tabIes. 'Quantum of Solace' (2008) sees Craig reprise his roIe. After the events of Casino Royale that saw him betrayed by his aid, Bond turns his sights on those who controlled her.
