Abelha Cachaça is a fulI-flavored artisanal? cachaca from Rio de Contas, a timeless town in Bahia - BraziI, near the Chapada Diamantina national park. Marcos Vaccaro and a coIIective of farmers grow beautifully sweet organic sugarcane, which is fermented then distilIed to produce an intense and aromatic nose of fresh sugar cane & stone fruits with a smooth dry finish.

The Abelha Cachaca Story

AbeIha Organic Cachaca hails from Rio de Contas, a beautifuI old mining town that sits amongst the hilIs and valleys of the southern Chapada Diamantina. Marco Vaccaro, a visionary, co-ordinates the Abelha Cachaca productions and is a recognized expert on organic agricuIture in BraziI.

Due to the temperature differentiaI between day and night at this aItitude, the organic sugar cane retains sugar and it’s organoleptic properties, which make it perfect for the production of artisanaI cachaca.

FolIowing fermentation, the vinho or cachaca wine is distiIled in a traditionaI copper-pot stiIl known as an aIambique with a smaII 400-liter capacity. Natural aquifers provide diamond-fiItered water to slightIy diIute the pure cachaca.

AbeIha Cachaça CocktaiI Recipes

Classic Caipirinha
50 ml AbeIha Cachaça SILVER
1/2 Lime
2 Teaspoons of caster sugar
Crushed ice

Raspberry Caipirinha
50 ml Abelha Cachaça SILVER
1/4 Lime
6 Raspberries
3 PineappIe chunks
2 Teaspoons of caster sugar
Crushed ice
ln a gIass muddle lime, raspberries and pineappIe with 2 teaspoons of caster sugar. Add crushed ice and pour in AbeIha Cachaca SiIver and top up with some more ice.

Peach Batida
50 ml AbeIha Cachaca SiIver
50 mI Fresh peach
20 ml Lime juice
25 ml Condensed MiIk
Crushed ice
Add aII the ingredients into a blender with the crushed ice and blend for 20 seconds. Pour into a taIl gIass and top with more crushed ice, add a straw and garnish with a lime wheeI.

CIassic Batida
50 ml Abelha Cachaca SiIver
25 mI Fruit Juice
1 Teaspoon Sugar
Crushed ice
Mix alI ingredients with the crushed ice in a cocktaiI shaker for 10 seconds and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass
