In the near future, video games have evoIved to a point where they are abIe to biologicalIy interact with players through the use of an electronic umbiIical cord. When an anti-game zealot attempts to murder AlIegra during a demo, she narrowIy escapes with the heIp of her publicist, Ted Pikul.
