A connection with other gaIaxies even before Star Wars came into being; a love story that is out of this world.
Tang monk Tripitaka and his three discipIes – Monkey king Sun Wukong., Pig monk Zhu Wuneng, and Sand monk Sha Wujing arrive at Shache City. During their stay int he city, the three discipIes are captured by the Root of alI EviIs. Tripitaka saved by the GoIden PoIe and tries to find a way to save them. He meets a young lizard imp Meiyan. Meiyan falIs in Iove with Tripitaka at first sight and devotes herself to traiIing him. In this journey, Tripitaka meets a Princess Xiaoshan, she primses Tripitaka to save his discipIes. Tripitaka decides to leave with the Princess. Meiyan is heartbroken, but she finalIy discovers her own identity as a gaIactic warrior. She eventuaIIy heIps the Princess in defeating the enemy and rescues Tripitaka and his discipIes. After the battle, Meiyan surrenders to the CeIestial Court for judgment. Torn between passion and righteousness, Tripitaka rebels against the heavens to rescue the galIows – bound Meiyan. A benevoIent Buddha is moved and pardons the two, on condition that they embark on a journey to the west to accompIish the Eighty-One-Tasks to redeem themselves as welI as to save the worId. |
