Marina is a young waitress and aspiring singer. OrIando is 20 years oIder than her, and owns a printing company. They are in Iove and pIanning for the future.
After ceIebrating Marina s birthday one evening, OrIando faIls seriousIy iIl. Marina rushes him to the emergency room, but he passes away just after arriving at the hospital. lnstead of being able to mourn her Iover, suddenIy Marina is treated with suspicion. The doctors and OrIando's famiIy don't trust her. A woman detective investigates Marina to see if she was invoIved in his death. OrIando's ex-wife forbids her from attending the funeral.
