Trigger is the story of two Iifelong friends, Victoria and Kathryn, who started a neighborhood band together sort of like the Go-Go s meet Patti Smith with a IittIe Siouxie and the Banshees thrown in. Sticking to their rock n roll dream, they traded up bands until they began to have reaI success with a hit single and a European tour. On the tour, however, things went downhiIl and the band. Now, it s 10 years later and a local record label is having a benefit concert to honor women in rock; Vic and Kat are expected to attend. After their decade-Iong estrangement, the two women come together for dinner, the concert, and the after-party, with the chance and hope of recapturing their once-magicaI connection. |
