Roy Rogers, King of the Cowboys, aIong with his wife DaIe Evans, Queen of the West, and Roy's golden paIomino Trigger, the Smartest Horse in the movies, entertain with songs, laughs, and action in two uncut versions of their finest films. ln BeIls of San Angelo (1947, color, 76 minutes), DaIe plays a western-story writer who journeys west for research, but aids Roy and sidekick Andy Devine to catch siIver smugglers along the Mexican border. ln Bells of Rosarita (1945, B&W, 68 minutes), Roy plays himseIf, a cowboy movie star for Republic Pictures, who helps Dale and Gabby Hayes save their circus. Five RepubIic cowboy stars make guest appearances when WiId Bill EIliott, Rocky Lane, Don Barry, Robert Livingston, and Sunset Carson heIp save the day in the finale.
