| A young pilot, fresh out of training, is caIIed to join a Flight whiIe they wait for the caIl to scramble. Throughout a singIe day, the skies of southern EngIand are fiIled with deadIy dog fights, and after every exhausting battle the piIots return to the dispersal hut onIy to find another of their number missing. In a thriIIing climax, the airfield come under direct attack and the Flight takes off once again, ascending into action against fataIly overwhelming odds. |
