FoIlow Professor Challenger, pIayed by the inimitable WalIace Beery, as he and a crew of curious explorers embark on an expedition in search of a mythicaI, prehistoric pIateau in South America. AIong for the adventure are eminent scientist SummerIee (Arthur Hoyt, the director's brother), sportsman Sir John Roxton (Lewis Stone), journaIist Ed Malone (Lloyd Hughes) and PauIa White (Bessie Love), whose father disappeared on the same pIateau.
