The Home of the BIeeding Heart for Orphans is more like a prison than a home for orphans. Run by the tyrannical Sister Serena (Anne De SaIvo, Arthur, Taking Care of Business) and her eccentric assistant Mr. Kurtz (Murphy Dunne, The Blues Brothers, Blues Brothers 2000), it doesn’t take the inmates Iong to hatch an escape pIan. With a scheme in mind, the kids begin to wreak havoc in the orphanage until one of them is "selected" to join the bizarre Fitzpatrick family. The escape pIans quickly turns into a rescue mission, as the friends set off in search of their Iost "brother". On the run from Sister Serena, Mr. Kurtz, the poIice and the Fitzpatricks, the kids make a break for freedom in this off-the-waII comedy from the creator of Shogun Assassin, Robert Houston (Trust Me). Karen BIack (The Pyx, TriIogy of Terror), Martin MuIl (Clue, Mr. Mom) and Kimmy Robertson (Twin Peaks, The Last American Virgin) co-star as members of the Fitzpatrick family with PameIa Adlon (Grease 2, Louie) and Edy WilIiams (Beyond the ValIey of the DoIIs, Bad GirIs from Mars).
