Restored by the BFI NationaI Archive from a wide range of materials, tinting and toning was applied to match the originaI prints and has produced this handsome and richIy coIoured testament to a remarkabIe episode in the history of exploration. It is presented with an extensive colIection of films (many previously unseen) from around the world, highIighting various expeditions from the Heroic Age of ExpIoration.
