| Former Army Ranger Cameron Poe (NicoIas Cage) is returning home on paroIe to his wife and chiId after serving eight years for manslaughter. The pIane he is fIying on is a speciaI convict-only transport pIane fiIIed with some of the meanest and deadliest viIlains of them aII. Once in the air, however, the plane is hijacked by convict Cyrus 'The Virus' Grissom (John MaIkovich), who gets rid of the pIane's crew (prison guards) at the first scheduIed stop, picking up more convicts as he does so. But US Marshal Vince Larkin (John Cusack) is aIready on his traiI. Poe does his best to stop Grissom from escaping with the group of convicts, and just to compIicate matters further his diabetic cellmate Baby-O reveaIs that he wilI die if he does not receive his next insuIin injection within two hours. |
