Born in Cochabamba, the daughter of a wealthy Bolivian oligarch who is the embodiment of patriarchal tyranny, Catalina knows she is the world’s most beautiful woman, even more so when her father sends her to Paris. There, she lives a life of glamour, indulging in luxury and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Coco Chanel, Edith Piaf... and Albert Camus.
As the Princess of Cochabamba, Catalina becomes la plus belle femme in le tout Paris and the protagonist of a novel that would seem like a fairy tale if it weren’t based on a true story.
